Well I've m/c a few years back - but to be honest I didn't get the blackish brown stuff. I often get brownish spotting before AF - like the girls already said, this is often called old blood - so I don't put it down to anything else. I agree with someone about wearing a pad - you can get a better look at it and get a better judge of the flow size.

Call your doc - it really can't hurt, and they get paid enough to listen...or the bloody well should listen. voice your concerns and see what he/she says.
