hi i am new here and although me and my boyfriend aren't trying to concieve we have discussed if it happened we wouldnt be upset.

i need your advise - i am on the pill and am now on my 7 day break since tuesday although i missed a pill by accident on monday 17th. i still havent started yet although when i went to hte toilet today i had a very slight smear of brownish blood only when i wiped which has never happened before. i have been to the toilet about 10 times since then as i am constantly feeling like it has came and it hasnt. i have been having soome unusual symptoms aswell like very bright blue veins on my boobs and they are also extremeley tender.

i have very prominant cramps in my stomach exactly the same as when af is due but i have had these even before i began my 7 day break.

i dont know if i feel sick or if i am just imaginign it...does that make sense??

i really hope you can help me - i am getting so excited it might be a positive!

ps i forgot to say that i have taken 2hpt - one this monring and one yesterday afternoon althoguh both were negative.

Have you been stressed lately that can make AF late. Or have you taken any other medication that could have messed with pill? If you don't mind being pg - good luck to you! I'm afraid it is a waiting game until either shows or you test again and get
Your symptoms coud be pg ones but also pre- AF ones it's hard to tell.

I have no experience with the pill.I do know that blue veins are a sign of pregnancy along with some of the other symptoms u mentioned.But they can also be related to af.You said that you tested but i don't know if is it the right time to test.You didn't say when af is due but it's best to test when u've missed it.Sometimes our minds just lead us into believing that we are pregnant when we are not.I'm not saying that i think you aren't.Try not to get too excited so that if you aren't you won't be too disappointed.Good luck!Hope everything works out the way you want it to.All the best.

There is always a chance you could be pregnant, however slim. The spotting could be caused by you forgetting to take the pill for the day (I always had spotting if I missed any pills)

Back when I was on the pill I would spot if I happen to miss a pill as well, but maybe wait a little while longer and take another test if no AF? good luck to you hun!

hi i thought i would pst, once i thought i was pregnant and went to the doctors and i was on the pill at the time, the doctor told me it take 7 days to get into your system and 7 days to get out of your system. when i was due on it never came then i went to the doctors again then she gave me a pregnancy test and it was neg, but another week went past and still no af, i went back again then she did another test and then it was a positive. but 1 sign of pregnancy was leaky bb's. i hope this will help you.

thanks so much for your replies! well i was suposed to start af on tuesday but still no sign. my stomach cramps have all but stopped at the moment so i dont know what that means. i have also just began to get a feeling like mild heartburn...well i suppose i will just have to wait and see what the doctor says because this has never happened in the 6years i have been o nthe pill!

My partner works at sea and when I went to see him last year, after spending less than two weeks with him I couldn't lie on my front because my breasts hurt so much. I haD the worst period cramps of my life which lasted well over a month. I bled just a tiny bit too. Even nausia kicked in at just week two!

I got home at week three and the doctor refused to do a pregnancy test saying it was way too early - but that night the period cramps got so bad I worried I was ectopic and did a test myself - which was positive at just three weeks! I am now 26 weeks and although I never planned to get pregnant - I am over the moon!
