i am believing that this is not going to be our month as we have not done enough BD!!!!
having said that i still put my bum up afterwards just in case .... you just never know do you?!
anyway i dont want to get as wrapped up in the 2ww as i did last month - nearly drove me insane so i am trying not to look in my diary for af date etc and i am enjoying this week and still eating what i want!!!!.

I am umming and arring as to whether or not I have a more relaxed approach to all this ttc business. I know that I can get pregnant but am beginning to think there is more to life (and that I should get one ). I really want a baby dont get me wrong.

I can see what you are saying Fran, i know it's possible but i have this nagging feeling that it isn't going to happen..ever lol
I know there are things i can do about it and i was meant to see my gp this week but failed miserably, i think i was finding excuses not to go if i'm honest.

Beowulf was great, the graphics are fantasic, i did fall asleep towards the end but i will get around to watching it again at some point. I loved what i saw though.

Grr i hate the 2ww, although i am not really waiting if that make's any sense
I even guestimated my OV this month. I have not given it my best at all this month so i won't be dissapointed when it doesn't happen

Rumpskin, my usual approach is to try my best for a few month's then have a rest for a month..well just take a more laid back approach. I think we all need a month off just to recoup or we would go insane
I find it stop's me getting so down about it all.
I hope this month is a good one for you

Shoeshopper, nic and bonfloss, great idea keeping busy during the 2ww! It take's your mind off thing's abit, and anything that take's your mind off the 2ww can only be good yes? Good luck girl's!!

Morning everyone,
Think we are all in agreement this month that we are all feeling a little less focused on ttc. Im the same, forgot to wee on my opk this morning, havent bothered to take my temps once this month either and havent taken folic acid or vitamins for a couple of weeks now, just cant be bothered. Think Kaelia is right, we all need a more laid back approach every now and then otherwise it drives us mad like it did last couple of months and I ended up

Had big chat with my mum this weekend as feel that i cant talk to anyone about the ttc thing and im really close to my mum yet my parents make me feel like im doing something naughty almost ttc, and Im 27 so why?? We both have jobs, a house , why cant we try? Anyways she said it wasnt that at all, she said I can talk to her and i explained its just made me feel like its a taboo subject or soemthing and if you cant talk to your friends (as they all have babies) and you cant talk to your family, then who can you talk to?? Feel bit better after our chat and she apologised anyways.
So yeah thats me. Gonna try and remember to use my opks this week and see what happens .

Franjipan uyo are so lucky that you can talk to your mum. Mine told me i was a failue after my 2nd MC so i definatley cant talk to her about how hard ttc is!
found out that best freind is pregnent and i am so happy for her as they have been trying for a while too, but now i feel i cant talk to her about my ups and downs as now we should be having talks about how she is feeling etc. she is really nervous about having a MC too so i want to support her but selfishly i feel like i have lost my support ( i dont know if selfish is the right word but you proabaly all know what i mean!)

You are so not a failure!! Our bodily failing's are not our failing's! They just happen sometime's. Never our fault.


Fran i gave up on the Prenatal vit's last month. I just can't be bothered to take them. They just make me bunged up!
I might consider going all out next month if this mood shift's I am enjoying the more relaxed approach at the moment though

Hey you guys. Shoeshopper cant believe your mum said that to you??? You are sooo not a failure!!! If that was the case wed all be bl**dy useless then wouldnt we and we certainly are not!! Drives me mad how let alone we have to dela with feeling crap cos of our situations anyway and then people just say stupid things to make us feel worse!!
We are having a bit of a hard time at the mo too as both me and my hubby feeling low all the time cos of the non success at ttc and his fmaily have a real habit of making us feel worthless sometimes without even realising as go on and on about his brother and sister and their families all the time to us, like we are not improtant cos we havent got kids and just feel sometimes he lives in their shadows all the time, which is really crap. When you are ttc for this long and not getting any results you want your self esteem boosted not deflated. It drives me mad. Think its all going to kick off soon though as things are coming to a boil with them at the mo as they just dont help or support us with anything or any help we need with various stuff so am not looking forward to that battle.
Forgot to take my opk again this morning, what is the matter with me?? I keep moaning about not gettign preg and im not helping myself am i?? Im gonna try and hold my wee for a few hours and not drink anything so i can take one this avo instead as i think today could be my peak or tomoorow not sure, so wish me luck, ive gotta find the energy now to bd after all the D.I.Ying weve been doing!!! AAAARGGH!

Hiya girl's, hope your all doing good.
I have already posted it in my diary..i finally got round to seeing my gp. I shall be seeing them today so hoping thing's will improve from here on in. At least i will now where is stand on the ttc front. I don't think i ov, i really don't but time will tell i guess.
Anyhow..

Fran i'm sorry to hear about your OH family, it's awful for both your hubby and yourself. I can only guess how you must feel.

My oh's nan started making a blanket for our baby when she found out last year we had started ttc! It must be mahoosive now!
They have been very kind though and not mentioned the fact that we are failing miserably. Which is nice. I think if they had been on at us about it, it would be a nightmare.
Love to everyone, i need to go take a shower and sort myself out..i look like crap!
