Speed & severity of early signs?

How quickly from ovulation do the early signs kick in, and how bad are they?

Ie if I was to conceive in the week or so before going a ski trip would it ruin our holiday?

I am almost 35 with a fairly irregular cycle, (6 weeks is normalish but anything between 4 & 8 weeks isn't unusual) so I know when we start ttc it might not be an easy journey. I think I am due to ov a week or so before we head off and wonder if it is worth the risk of ditching the condoms and see if we can catch this cycle. Rather than waiting until we are back before ttc.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place I couldn't quite decide if it should be in wtc or ttc?

Wow being pregnant wouldnt ruin my holiday!

Some women do get nausea etc straight off the bat, even in the two week wait, and every pregnancy is different so there is no definitive answer that can be given to this question really!
