I'm totally gutted!

Conceived naturally first month of trying, then 13 wks later I had a mmc. Baby was actually only 6wks.

Went to the docs as I still hadn't had af 7 wks after mc and to discuss my cycle generalyfor future ttc as they are really irregular. So have had bloods done and scan and doc told me today I have cysts.

I don't no to what extent yet, as doc is wanting to do more bloods and then we will discuss everything and plan going forward when results come back.

Can't belive first go we caught straight away, and now I find I have this. Just gutted!

Any success stories or tips or just telling me what will happen next would be great

I had an ultrasound that showed I had cysts two month before conceiving my son.

It depends if you have pcos or just cysts. I have cysts and it hasnt made any difference to ttc. If you have pcos then you get treatment for that. There are many ladies that can give you advice regarding that, but I believe there are a number of treatments. XX

i had a cyst on my left ovary when i was a baby & had the entire ovary removed ( obviously now they prob wouldnt need to do that as more advanced in technology now) i conceived my daughter after only 6 mths of ttc so i dont think cysts are a prob when ttc. A friend of a friend had cysts on her ovary & the doc said that they will monitor it but sometimes they shrink & go away anyway by them selves.....if not then they operate & remove the cysts. i have since been diagnosed with polycysts on right ovary but i appear to be ov anyway so again i think having polcysts isnt the end of the world c

I don't know to what extent the cysts are yet.

Found out via a phone chat with doc, I've got to wait till the results of next blood tests which won't be for a few weeks.

Feel a bit numb, I no it's not the end of the world, and if I've got pregnant once I prob can again.

I'm 19 and was diagnosed with Polycyctic ovarian syndrome Feb 09' I didnt have a period between sept 09' and Feb 09' (thats when I found out) and I have it on BOTH ovaries.

I have been TTC Since July with no luck - I went to my doctor recently - told him how long ive been TTC and he told me EVERYONE must try and conceive naturally for 1 year before your even entitled to medication (stupid when we clearly have fertility problems) HOWEVER My managers wife has PCOS too and has conceived 3 girls (2 being identical twins) and is currently 8 months pregnant with her 4th little girl. So it is possible to conceive naturally!! ONE PROBLEM.....


It's very common with PCOS to miscarry...my managers wife miscarried after every healthy birth (so 4 miscarriages) in early stages! I too have had 2 miscarriages when I wasnt TTC and I'm really scared its going to happen again

PCOS usually runs in the family but I wouldnt worry just yet! TTC for a year if you have no luck go to your GP and ask for Clomid or Metformin they are suppose to be really good!! I'm sure you doctor has explained the whole "pcos thing"???? I was told there was NO EGGS in my cysts when they done the internal examination on me so I'm just praying im not infertile!
