I ovulated last Tuesday, 3 days early, we didn't even managed to BD until 3 days after I ovulated and I started spotting yesterday. It's stopped now, but i've got tender nipples so I expect the is going to be early, she's not due for another week and a half.

Do you usually spot and this early? Are you sure you're not OVing late? I did on CD21 the last cycle?

I don't usuallly spot. I had a positive ovulation test last Tuesday, I wasn't supposed to ovulate until Friday, I did another OV test on Friday just to check and it was negative.

So are you already 8DPO? If so the spotting could be implantation - is it very light spotting and brown or pink?

I'd love it to be implantation bleeding, but we didn't manage to BD until 3 days after I ovulated, so it's doubtful. It's quite pink, there isn't very much, I just notice it when I wipe. It's stopped today.

Is implantation bleeding very common?

I thought I had it this month so I tried to research it but there isn't a lot about it. Apparently it isn't as common as you may think or because it isn't reported by women. It is very different to AF and can hapen around 8-10DPO. Do you temp as well? If yes you might have had an implantation dip as well. Lets hope that this is what it is!

I have had random pinkish spotting before...don't really know why. Could be from BDing...

I would recommend temping too
