Hi everyone

its been nearly 4 years TTC and nothing

i have been on clomid tabs for 6mnths but hubby and i relocate often so everytime i go to a new gyno they start stuff over from sq 1 so we havent really moved on

now my gyno here is still stuck at doing all my tests then said she will give me clomid tabs the injections then try IUI then IVF

hubby is sick of tired of all this and just wants to try IVF or IUI straight away and skip all the tabs and injections as we have wasted so much time

i told my gyno here i have done 6 months of clomid with no result so why cant we just go to the next step but she doesnt listen

i dont know what the deal is but has anyone skipped steps? and just gone straight into IVF?

I am 32 and i just feel like my time is being wasted by the docs doing all this

I have had ALL my tests...had a lapro....there is nothing wrong with me

I just want a baby now and its becoming hell for me

I am living in Saudi so i cannot just up and go 2 the doc when i want as women cannot move around unaccompanied....so these visits to the doc for this test that test etc etc is annoying as hubby has 2 take time off work

sometimes he isnt available to take me so if i need a test on a specific CD i cant make it

its getting increasingly frustrating now

i really wish i was back in Australia right now and not stuck in Saudi Arabia with these probs

i don't know hun xx, surely one gyno could send details to another? maybe thats e just living in a naive' world. They won't skip steps though. I've been ttc for 7 months and even though im charting/using cbfm and i know i ovulate too late in my cycle and my luteal phase is too short the Dr won't do anything till we've been ttc for 1 year, wish id lied now but i didn't and its in the system when i should be due for further tests (Sept 0, she did the basic ones but that was it and they were done on the day AF came so would have looked "right".
Are you in Saudi for long?

I have been ttc for almost 6 years now,I had a tubal reversal in 02 I also went to many doctors who gave me the run around with going thorugh all the steps over and over, it sucks, i just wanted to wish you luck in your ttc it is tuff. I olny have one tube and I started clomid this month found out that the clomid worked but it put the follical on my right side which my tube is closed so that is no good to me. Sending you lost of

but nooooo she is testing me for everything under the sun....again! i just wanted 2 sit in her office and

coz at this rate, i will never have a baby

and now this cycle i will be back in pakistan so i will have 2 have some tests done there that my doc here wanted! need 2 be done on CD 2

when i see her nxt i will say i just want to go straight to IUI now and by pass another 6 mnths of clomid...i am sick of this hanging about...and if she refuses well...i am sure there are other docs who will do it

it must be really frustrating for you, what does your OH think? can you not come to any sort of compromise if you both want a baby so much over where you live?

the thing is his job is in saudi and i lived away from him for 6 mnths...i lived in Pakistan

obviously in order 2 have a kid we have 2 be together and if he is in Saudi for a few years i will have 2 be here

its unfortunate but thats the way it is....if he got a good job elsewhere he wud take it in a heart beat but right now this is where we are at...

i cannot ask him 2 live somewhere else when i know this job is a good thing for his future
