How would you tell your OH?

I have finally figured out the way I think would be too cute. I have made a scavenger hunt. (the details are in my journal) Now we just have to make the baby,

Does any one else have any ideas or things you have ACTUALLY done?

I just told him, 'about time i'm pregnant' that's it LOL

Im thinking of wrapping the preg test up,and giving it to him as a gift, just make out i bought him alittle something, he wouldnt have a clue!!

i was in such shock the last time as id only tested 'for fun' as i'd already decided it wasnt gonna happen..so i just thrust the stick at him... we sat looking at eachother in between fits of hysterical giggling- it'll be the same next time i expect!

im lousy at keeping my own secrets and have a tendency to want to share it right away..hold on, no thats called 'impatience'..That's what i got. LOL!!!

I planned on telling DH and my whole family this way.
Buy little tiny sets of yellow or white booties or socks and putting them
in a blank card that simply says inside

"GUESS WHAT?"


A close friend gave me the idea and I am totally in love with it

That would be so cute, I just wish there was a way I could possibly keep a secret...I have a big mouth! OH and I want to keep our next pregnancy quiet so he said I should tell all my friends on here, and hide from my family. That might work.

I plan on telling my OH right away....as soon as I get a positive! But for telling my Mom I have a plan. I live about 4 hours away from her (including a ferry ride) so I don't get to see her often and she is desperate to be a Nana. She also got remarried a year and half ago. I figure that I will have OH's kids draw up signs that say "Congratulations on your name change. You are no longer known as XXX you new name is.....(show pic of positive test)...Nana!" and take pics of it all. I'll tell her before she looks at the pics that we were explaining to the kids that some women change their last name when they get married and this is their way of congratulating her....as well as surprising her! She'll love it...and OH's kids would really be in to it.

if i get my BFP and it's near fathers day, i will just get the OH a happy fathers day card.

i would just love to see the shock on his face.
