First of all CONGRATULATIONS and I wish you a healthy and happy nine months.

Secondly, your boyfriends sounds a little shocked and what he is suggesting I hope is a knee-jerk reaction. What a shame he can't enjoy the excitement right now. I do hope he comes around very quickly and supports you.

Perhaps you need to let him read some of the threads of those ttc over 2 years and more. It might help him realise how much of a miracle he has helped create.

Wishing you the best.

^Agree'd.

Stick by your guns honey - Congratulations on such a wonderful surprise! I hope you really enjoy your pregnancy.

Your DH is being a little selfish and I hope he comes around soon so you can begin to enjoy the experience together

congrats hun, i agree with Ney Ney, don't let your bf push you into anything, personally i wouldn't see an abortion counsellor if i didn't want to even to "look" at my options but thats just me, you need to do what you feel is best xx

To be honest, if you are dead against an abortion then why go through the pain of going to see a counsellor? Just give him time. He will come 'round, I expect, as he is a man and they are all messed up, most of the time. If you are dead set against this idea, though, it is only giving him ideas. There is little point in confusing the situation even more than it is already confused.

If you are against abortion, then stick by your gun's. He may be abit shocked to say the least and it's a huge commitment. Give him time to accept what's happened. I wouldn't mention too much about it. He know the situation, just let him come to terms with it in his own mind. Men are strange entities!
Good luck
