Hey - do you mind if I share something with you?? Kinda long, but I'm desperate....

I have a normal 28 day cycle
Today is CD30
I am 16DPO

Got up this morning, did a pee stick, let DH look at the results while I went back to bed. He never told me anything, just left for work - I assumed it was BFN. I get up 2 hours later and there are 2 lines on a FRER!! Yes, 2 definite line - faint - but most certainly there!!! I get home after holding my pee for 6 hours and do another and there is TOTALLY NO LINE AT ALL..... I know my eyes weren't playing tricks on me, DH and I both saw the line. He looked at it when he got home and said that when he looked this morning he thought he saw something but thought his eyes were playing tricks on him. He said the line had def. gotten darker though. It's not an evap I don't think because it's not gray, it definitely has a pink tint to it and it's darker pink at the bottom. Plus i here evaps go away after a few hours and this line has stayed there for 13 hours now.... I just don't get it..... Any advice?? Sound like your situation any???

Sounds exactly like my situation hun!! I did a dollarama test and it was pos then not long later did a clearblue digi and accu-clear they were both negative...did a first response the next day also neg and then a faint line on a first response lastnight., and a def pos on a digi tonight. It could be possible your hcg levels arent high enough yet for the more expensive tests to really pick up on. The line on my pos first response test is still there and I did it lastnight and its still light pink. So, this being said I would wait a couple days and test again!! Im sure tho your DH said he "thought he saw something but thought his eyes were playing tricks on him" chances are he really did and it had just sat for a while but the line is still there. Did you think about maybe doing a digital? Good luck!! Im sure you will be joining me in first tri!!! Let me know how everything goes.

He says he threw the test away after about 5 minutes, so maybe the line appeared shortly after he threw it away. I have one more FRER which I will take in the morning with FMU. After that I'll wait a few more days and get a CB digi. I'm telling you though, that WASN'T an evaporation line!!! It just didn't look like the pictures I've seen of FRER evaps!!!

It could have been after the 5 mins but who knows now...lol Its hard to say really. Ya I would do the first response in the morn but if it comes out neg do not get upset, believe me I know how it feels but look at what happened for me!! I now have a strong BFP!! Just do another test if it does in a couple days. hcg levels double every 48 hours so if you got a pos this morning it should be darker on wednesday or thursday. Haha this time watch the test yourself as much as you would like to go back to bed lol sometimes men just dont know what they are doing. I believe you hun about the evap line...evap lines look more like a dent in your test I had a bunch of them on the dollarama tests. I thought mine may have been evaps at first but I was like "No that has color!!" and when I did the FRER it def had color too, faint but there. Dont give up hope!! as long as the darn witch dont come you are safe!! Im sure you are tho. xxxxxxxxx

Yeah, it had color for sure - not just a "clear dent". I am going to TRY to figure out how to post a picture from my cell phone - any clue how??? Maybe everyone can give me more help! And in the morning I will for sure sit and watch it!

Haha Im not sure honestly hun how to get the pic from your phone. I use my digi camera and dont even know how to take pics off my cell. lol Sorry. Im here if you need to chat!! I will be waiting for your result in the morning!! xxxx

I figured it out but I can't get a good enough pic with my camera phone - you can't see the second line on the pic like you can in person - oh well - will test again with a FRER with FMU around 7:30am tomorrow!! Thanks so much!!

Congratulations to you both. Good old Clearblue Digital ... you can't beat them and you get a souvenir for however long they last. Make sure you take photos because I think they only stay lit for a short time (24-48 hours).
