This sounds all too confusing to me! I am trying right now just 1st cycle so going to try for a few months before i get into all this, it sounds like a lot of hard work to learn all this stuff.

I took soy this month - as I had an anovulatory cycle in November, then got bloods done, and my GP said my body needs to work hard to ovulate - so decided I would give soy a try this month - it didn't change my OV day - CD 12 last month and this one.

Thread about Soy

How old are you StonesWife? I notice you in a lot of threads recently. If I were you I'd spend a bit more time reading up on all the various different supplements people are taking and do your own research, then decide what you think would be best for you. Trying everything all at once, could end in more heartache. We all want that BFP, but try one thing at a time. I spent a couple of weeks reading threads on here and on other baby sites and drew up a list of my various options. The first thing I did was get a Clear Blue Fertitlity Monitor - to see what my body was up to post BCP, I then had the annovulatory cycle - so went to see my GP. I got bloods and my DH got a SA done. We're taking it one step at a time, we'll give the soy a couple of cycles before moving on to something else.

FX for you hun. Though I'm a bit confused about your sig - 8 months til TCC?

I took soy the past 2 cycles. It does give you a stronger ov also mine came a couple days earlier than usual. I took it on cd 3-7 100mg. For only 5 days....THATS IT. Last cycle I took it 5-9 at 40mg, didnt do very much.

The b50. I take that after my soy days. It helps lengths your LP and spotting. Since Ive been taking it for that past 2 months. Dont notice any spotting at all

I'm 22. We were wwt till after our wedding but have moved to ntnp after a not-so-accident and now I'm five days late. Sorry my signature is a bit confusing right now. Will update it. I plan on trying soy since I seem to O way late in my cycle (this is all pending I don't get my BFP) and plan on taking Bcomplex to get my lp to a better length. I'm researching now and going to decide if I want to start these right away (I'm thinking I will with the bcomplex and may wait ith soy) or temp for a few cycles to see whats really going on. I just wanted some input about what others had done... Thanks ladies for the unput I knew my BnB girls would come through (as always)

I took soy this cycle CD2-6 and my ov date stayed exactly the same. Can't say if it did anything positive/negative yet but it might not have done anything. All I know is I was more irritable from the day I started taking it than ever before in my life! DH and I ended up arguing so much...which is not good for babymaking!
My advice would be temp the next few cycles so you know where you are even if you are not trying so you can start to understand your cycles. I would also start taking 50mg B6 in a B complex (which will also contain the folic you need) now. As for other tricks and supplements I would steer clear because, once you start, it is so much harder to relax and stop trying to trick your body.
In the end it is *your* body so do you research and decide what's best.
Best of luck. x

Thanks girls! I've got my B complex ready and waiting for CD1... How long should you take it? Through your whole cycle?

I don't think there's any harm in taking it all the way through - but I can't remember!! I stopped at OV this month, though can't remember f I did last month
