Hi girls

I know someone else has posted an article about this but I have just bought some agnus castus for my pms.

I am hoping it will make my nausea/dizziness diminish before AF is due.

It recommends 1-3 capsules per day. I have taken one. Should I be taking more?

Has anyone else had experiences of taking this and has it helped?

i started taking it this month when af started as its not advised uring pregnancy so you shouldnt use it after ovulation until af arrives. It didnt effecy my bleeding but i was less naseau and less pain than the last couple of months so i think it has done something!

Yes Im in the process of taking it also! Another name for it is VITEX (well here in Aussie anyway!)...
I am taking it and it has been helping wonderfully! Not only has it curbed my PMS (much to hubby's relief) but it is helping to regulate my periods etc... it also helps with breast soreness etc...
But I do agree with Carolina, dont use it when pregnant...

I know that it has been recommend for those of us who have M/C...that is why Im taking it! As it tells the pitutitary gland to produce eggs (thus regulating periods and ovulation)....

As for how many to take? Wel Im taking 2 every morning just when I have breaky (before you start doing anything else)...I take mine with a peice of toast coz when I take it on a empty stomach with coffee it repeats on me!

Hi Rumpskin, that was me who posted the earlier thread about Agnus Castus. Sorry I have no idea how many to take , but I suppose if on the instructions it says take 1-3 then it would be ok to do so. I took the tincture from Neil's Yard because it's organic and they tinctures work a bit faster. I'm sure it will work just maybe keep to a lower amoun t for the first month see what happens then think about maybe increasing slowly or talk to your GP.

Just one more thing...make sure you are taking your Folic Acid!!! Drs recommend that you take it 3 months before you conceive...
To help prevent spina bifida etc....
