Sorry - I haven't been on the BCP but some girls will come along soon and give you some advice.

From what I've read coming off the pill can throw your body out of whack sometimes, and it can sometimes be a case of just letting it settle down

i totally agree with Ney Ney. I was on bcp and my cycles are still not regular after 7 months. You had a 28day cycle as it was a "fake" period, produced as you were on your pill break, your now waiting for your natural first one to come along. I have ranged from 24-36days so far but some girlies on here go much longer, i thought i was regulating at 30/31days but last month my cycle was 34 days which isn't too far out but agonising when waiting for bfp!!

Hi Kaelia,

I'd agree with the other girlies.. Your body has been fed these hormones for years and it can take a while for it to snap back and remember what its supposed to be like.

The only thing that changed when i came off bcp was that my short period stayed short (yay..i used to have 7-8 day periods so when they halved on bcp it was like heaven !)

sorry i have nothing cleverer to say, here's some easter eggs instead...
