Hi I'm confused.AF is 14-16 days late.I had some very light spotting which started on Feb 25 and lasted for 4 days.I went to the doctor told him what happened.He wasn't leading the spotting directly towards IB and then he felt my womb and he said i didn't feel pregnant.Then i decided to take a First Response test 3 days after i missed AF and it turned up negative.I haven't tested since that because i don't want to be wasting money on tests that give me bad news (it's not that i'm cheap,if i were to get a BFP i would definitely buy 4 or 5 tests to make sure it's really there).The tests where i live costs between $12 and $16.00.Plus my other half don't want me to test so he we can avoid the disappointment.I've tested many times in the past and it has just taken a toll on us.I don't know what to do.Don't know if i should take one last test or go back to the doctor who didn't think that i felt pregnant.If i'm not pregnant i would feel so dumb going back and have to hear him tell me that.
I get AF every month maybe a day or two late but never ever this late.I've also never spotted before.I wish i knew what was going on with my body.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I dont really have any advice really as you so rightly pointed out testing can be expensive and also emationally draining.. we've all been there, hun.

how long you been off bcp? i would still test again and go back, 2 weeks is a long time late xx

i've given it some thought and i think i will 2morrow.I'm kinda nervous about it tho.Afraid to be disappointed.If i get BFN i'll be ashamed.
