Exclamation

green tea

Ive just started drinking different flavours of these and LOVE them. I was just wondering does anyone know if theres caffeine in them?
They really feel like they cleanse your system and if your ever feeling constipated or like you havnt 'been' in a while within a couple of sips you need the toilet! (well it does that for me anyway)!

I always thought green tea had little or no caffeine but i just read up on it and it says its not true. It depends on the type of green tea you consume.

According to an article i just read it did say though ' The best way to avoid green tea caffeine content side effects? Try a high grade green.' Apparently, it has to do with when the buds of the tea are harvested and a high concentration of a natural chemical in these buds that counter atcs the caffeine..

Phew..almost sounded like i knew what i was talking about there, lol

Go ahead and enjoy your tea..millions of chinese for over thousands of years cant be wrong

I'm not sure about the caffine in green tea. But I have read a few articles that have said that the antioxidants in green tea are wonderful for you and your fertility. I don't get too concerned about caffine, especially in tea. It's less than half the caffine of one cup o' coffee, plus like I said the antioxidants... To me my sanity is much more important than giving up caffine all together. I don't know what I'd do w/o my tea.
Plus the articles that I've read about caffine are wishy-washy... they're not possitively sure of it's effects anyway. My mom, grandma, great grandma etc. all drank tea and they all had very large healthy families. Plus like the last post said, millions of chinese people can't be wrong, right? My great grandma used to say, "Anything in moderation, is not bad for you." She lived to be 104 years old and had 8 children.
Try to relax and just don't go crazy drinking 10 cups of tea a day... I think you'll be fine.

I'm a green tea drinker! I do think it has caffeine in it but not to worry as green teas good for your system and I'm sure your not going crazy with the stuff. I drink decaf green tea so if it does bother you, you can switch to decaf and still get all the glory.

Sure it has caffeine, but a cup a day wont hurt. It's also great for ovulation, just take it before ovulation, and stop it when u r ovulating and after.
