i do need sum help and i admit it.
i cnt tlk to my mum about it bcoz she is a big girl and she always sed im fat and thts the way im guna stay etc etc.
i tlk to my OH but he is a thin guy, - i cant belive my luck with him really i dnt! he understands a little bit but (and im sorry about the TMI here but) wen it comes to getting down n dirty i RARELY do it bcoz if i dnt feel sexy i dnt want sex, which is selfish and obviously a man has needs altho he says he'l wait, but it stil makes me feel bad and wen i ever do it im clothed and nothing is really exposed even tho he has seen it b4 - wen i lost the weight - but now iv put it bk iv crawled bk into myself.
i hate shopping bcoz if i go into a clothes store tht obviously wudnt have my size i feel like the ppl r looking at me thinkin wots the point of her being in here shes too fat to b here, or wen im out by myself im constantly listening out to passers by just incase there is a laughter, snigger, comment about my weight as soon as i here one i cry n my OH has to pick up the pieces again.
im so sorry about the huge rant
this is how i feel constantly - oh and u wont c me in any other clothing apart from black and the only reason is bcoz its "slimming".
if anyone thinks they can help me or feels the same please let me no, i need to sort my life out, not only for OH or the potential kids we might hav but for myself. i need to b happy again and i feel the only way to do tht is to be bk t the size i wanna b.
sorry again. | Let me tell you what is helping me, remember this is a lifestyle change.
1. Drink more water. It really does work!!!
2. Eat smaller portion sizes. Takes time to adjust but does work.
3. Snack on fruit. Keeps you regular!
4. Limit sugar.
5. Walk 30 minutes a day.
6. Actually taste what you eat, enjoy it, remember there is no rush.
I've lost 3.3lbs doing this, and that's in a week! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm sorry I couldn't post sooner I've been so sick.
To all those who are overweight, I was too. All my life I was overweigth, until 5 years ago I decided I had to do something about it. I was already dating my Dh and he said that I didn't need to loose weigth, that he loved me like because who I was, not because how he saw me. But I knew I coun't handle all that weigth, not anymore. So I went to the doctor and he sent me some blood test, 2 weeks later when I came back to see the doctor and I was diagnosed with Hipo-Thyroid. That is a methabolic illnes, that makes my methabolism goes really slow and that's just one problem.
I started a medication that I have to take for the rest of my life, I changed some of my eating habits and I started to walk 30 minutes every day.
5 years later, I'm still have Hipo-Thyroid (I will have this all my life), but I'm not over weight anymore and just like I said to people who knows me from before I started to loose the overweight, I didn't do it because I wanted to be thin, or because I wanted my DH to have a thin wife; I did it because my health was in danger and I want to live to see my grandchildren (I know first I have to have at least one baby, but you know what I mean). I learned a long time ago, to not care about what people say about how I look, I know is hard, I know sometimes it takes you to depression (it did that to me), but is possible, and everytime anybody ask me why you did it? I say that, I wanted to be healthy, to feel healthy (even now I'm sick, but that's has nothing to do with this), I'm proud of what I did. | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi everyone.
I am also very overweight. My BMI is in the 40's. I recently had a gastric bypass operation and lost 10 stone in 8 months. My BMI was in the 60's at that point! Anyway, I am sure that the quick weight loss contributed to me getting pregnant and I am now 24 weeks pregnant so I can't really help with the ttc part but since being pregnant I have not had any negative comments from the anyone involved. I asked the midwife about it during my first appt and she said there should not be a problem - only that she might have difficulty measuring the fundal size etc but she measured it for the first time this week and she could find it with no problem. I really hope things go well for you all.
