Clomid Side Effects - Help!

Hi Guys.

Looking for some advice from those who've taken Clomid.
Today is day #2 (it's late afternoon) - haven't taken pill #2 yet
but I have awful nausea. I've vomited twice today and haven't eaten
a thing because I just can't stomach it.

Does anyone know any ways to help manage this symptom?
I took pill #1 last night, and felt fine - it wasn't until around 0900
this morning that I started to feel yuck, and it's just gotten worse
from there. And I still have 4 days left!!

The nausea is the only symptom - I don't have any headaches
or anything like that....

Help!

Why is having a baby this damn hard?

Thanks Suz sweetie

As I'm getting worse pretty quickly I don't even think It's my clomid
I think it's perhaps something I've caught. My body is starting to
ache - DH is in the kitchen making me some fresh fruit salad which is the
only thing I'm game enough to try to keep down at the moment.

trust it to happen right when I begin clomid right?

Grrr . I seriously hate my body sometimes.

Hate HAte HATE!

Hi Neyney,

The best time to take Clomid is at night as it minimises the side effects. Last thing before you go to bed is perfect as you sleep through most of the side effects.

I doubt the Clomid is causing that kind of nausea unless you have had a severe reaction to it which is doubtful.

I don't know anything about this medication but looked up the side effects out of interest when I read your post.

The link is here: http://infertility.about.com/od/clom...dsideeffct.htm

However, I don't see nausea or sickness listed, which makes me wonder if you are right in thinking you have caught a bug or something. In a way I hope so because it means you can continue with the Clomid later without feeling ill.

Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks girls

It's morning now, I managed to take pill#2 and keep it down last night
after a shocking night I feel 100% better than what I did back then.
I think I caught a 24hour bug.

Off to work now - but feeling a lot better

Thank you all so much for your advice.

Glad you're feeling better Ney - If its the clomid...it'll be worth it.
