Question

EWCM for 2nd time in 1 month?????????

hi girls. I am so confused and wondered if you could help! I am now (or i thought i was) 6DPO - but this morning CM had changed again and (i know this is TMI) but my cervix has gone really high and soft. Surely it is impossible that i am ov again for the 2nd time this month? For the last couple of days i have had tender boobs, really tired and really bad trapped wind - again TMI but i am so confused i feel like i have to get it out there!! Last week before i ov i was feeling really crampy and i am feeling like that again now but worse - like i am about to have AF - but she isn''t due until next weekend?
Any ideas or advice? has this happened to anyone else?
xx

I thought I'd read somewhere that it is possible to OV twice in one month (not common) but does happen sometimes.

There was one study in 2003 that suggested second ovulation in one cycle is possible, but this one study that at the time of publishing was not complete.

The general concensus from medicine (from my limited experience) is that single ovulation only. I would guess maybe you've had a 'surge' that didn't actually result in ovulation and it took a bit more time for your body to get really ready. Maybe you had some high stressors a week ago that might have postponed it till now?

I would get to BD'in if I were you... Both indications CM and CP are that you are fertile! Try to stay relaxed and enjoy this time with your DH .
