Ok, so now I DON'T have PCOS? Advice plz?

I knew it. Although now Im more confused than ever.

Went to the GP this eve to explain about missing period, and feeling sick from beginning of Nov with about a 2 week break around last AF. Different to the one I usually see as she had cancellation and was looking at next week for an appointment, want to clear this up before Christmas.

I went in and told her I had been diagnosed with PCOS, had a refderral to the hospital, that I dont know if I ovulated this month, if I did Im late, symptoms and 2 very faint BFPs on asda tests, 2 BFN FRER, 1BFN clearblue digi. CD1 6th nov, currently CD 37 making this my second longest cycle since I had Seth.

She read a letter from Dr at hospital which basically said I was wasting his time being there, my hormone levels are fine and theres no problems. She looked at blood tests I had done in April which said my LH level was slightly high (the Dr who diagnosed me told me a different hormone that was high) but that could coincide with ovulating. This was 24th April, didn't get AF til 6th June!!!

She says she thinks Im pregnant and to drop a sample off in the morning because they'll be able to see HCG levels rather than a blue line apparently, she doesnt think I have PCOS and if im not PG I need to get an opinion from elsewhere.

Just dont know what to think I just want this to be over by Christmas so I know either way x

I dont know what I expect anyone to say about this, it sounds like such a mess, but any advice at all is hugely appreciated. If I am pregnant Im concerned why Im not getting any stronger lines

x

Hi Lizi, when did you get those positive tests on asda? Was it recently? Are those very sensitive? If they are they could be picking up HCG before the others? Anyhow, I wish you luck and some answers soon.

Thanks Claire

Dee, it was Sunday afternoon and monday morning, so faint though. The BFn was on Thursday on a FRER and today I got a BFN on a clearblue digi, which Id image to be more sensitive to an asda one considering they're 3 times the price

Oh my, how confusing for you. Did you not have a scan to determine PCOS hun?

If you dont have PCOS then I think your just one of those ladys who have messed up cycles....I know it doesnt help...but 37 days isnt too long babe.

I do however think you are preg if you have faint lines on the FRER. The CB's are shit tbh and need alot of HCG to pick up on...x x x

Digital tests are not the most sensitive ones, and the FRER might have been too early. Good Luck to you!!!!!
