How effective is In-Vitro Fertilization?

My cousin who has been trying for many years to have a baby had this procedure done 2 days ago and she was told to wait 2 weeks and test.

Has anyone had it done here?

Thanks ladies.

How effective IVF is depends on a few factors, such as the reason for the treatment, the type of treatment, the womans age etc....
Also different clinics have different success rates, generally around 30%, which equates to a 1 in 3 ratio for positive results per treatment cycle.
