I'm Currently Feeling: | It could mean you dont get your BFP as soon as you might have but if you test based on how many DPO you are then you'll be fine.

I'm Currently Feeling: | If you know how long your luteal phase is just figure it that way.
When I ovulate late, I just know from that day - in 10 days I will have
Luteal phases do NOT CHANGE cycle to cycle. They are always the same time.
You can ovulate pretty much anytime depending on your stress level, your health... etc. But that good ole LP comes the same time every time |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had very late ovulation this month...and then AF showed up early! Technically, if your ovulation is 3 days late, then your AF should be 3 days late too. But it doesn't seem to always work! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Correct me if i am wrong anybody..but you work out your luteal phrase by counting the days from after you ov until the time af comes. So say you ov on cd14 and your af arrives on cd28 then your luteal phrase would be 14 days. hth xx | | | | Status: Offline

Yes, technically that would be spot on
To make sure this is consistent, the easiest, cheapest and most accurate way I can think of, other than blood tests, is to temp. Once you have your thermal shift, (which indicates progesterone production and hence the luteal phase) you can see how many days until AF.
Unless you run OPK's which would tell you when you ovulated, but is more expensive of course. But even using these, I would also temp for a cross check. |
