Well i don't know if some of you know what a pain a SIL can be, but hell i bet no one want's mine.

O.k by now most of you know my story with my son, now me SIL is pregnant and is due the exact same due date as what my son's due date was suppose to be. Now i can't stand her, this has come now for two years when me and DH decided to get married.

Now, when i got my BFP she made it horrible for me from day 1 of getting my BFP, even told me why do people that don't deserve to fall pregnant fall pregnant. Now the past few months since she got her BFP i have went out of my way to not see her, difficult as we all live on a farm with our own houses, MIL and FIL in their house, Me and DH in our house and SIL and her useless DH in their house.

Now the past few weeks she has been looking really bad, as in doesn't bath for 2-3 days, hair always oily, permenantly in PJ's and smokes like a train. Now who am i to judge her life her baby.

So me so F*&^%$ing stupid felt sorry for her and gave her some of my Maternity clothes very expensive shirts and pant's and dresses, and she hasn't even worn one of them yet now this is about 2months ago. For her B-day i bought her this hair and facial treatment gift hamper cost me an arm and a leg, and it is lying on her kitchen counter from December.

Now i have been nice for so long and last night she came to me and asked if i have any warm maternity clothes for her as it has been cold here in South Africa, so me stupid i get up and take my maternity winter clothes out for her. Now im already going against what i said to myself that i will not give away my maternity clothes nor any of my son's things.

A minute ago my SIL e-mails me, if she can buy my son's camping cot with the matresses and pillows, and she will need the sheets and bedding too as it matches the cot.

Im like WTF, now i havn't replied but this is now enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is taking advantage of my soft heartedness and playing on my feelings, and she knows i didn't wan't to get rid of any of my things in the first place.

What now???????????????

I don't even want to go home anymore, i have become so depressed lately and i love my DH so much in our 12years of being best friends and two years of marraige but i can't go on living my life like this.......

You poor thing!! She sounds awful? Have you spoken to DH about this? What does he think of this situation?
It's like she has no conscience!! Why on earth would she ask for/to buy any of the things that were for your little boy, goodness me, you need to be strong and say NO buy one from elsewhere!!! Ohh i don't know how you have been so kind!!!! I get angry just thinking about it!!

I would also just like to say how sorry i am for your loss, i dont know what else to say sweetheart but i couln't reply without offering my condolences. x x x

Wow! I haven't even heard the whole story but she sounds like a witch! Is she trying to make you crazy or is she just that stupid? I don't know sweetie, it's DH family so God forbid... but it's time to put your foot down. Just take a deep breathe and do it with as much class as possible. No sence in sinking to her level. You cant' expect her to ever understand, obviously she has no heart, but you can expect her to understand that you've had enough. Make it clear and to the point, then let it be. She'll either get over it or she won't. Either way, it sounds like her problem not yours.

I am really sorry that you are having to go through this on top of everything else. I think you should tell her in no uncertain terms how she is making you feel and stand your ground.

I agree with the others. You have to stand your ground with her or she will continue trying to take advantage of you.

I'm so sorry - she sounds awful and I can really relate. My SIL is a real . Very jelous and selfish and made a very rude comment to me when she found out DH and I will be trying to conceive the same time as her. It's easy to say don't let it bother you, but it does. Stand your ground with her and you have all the right in the world to say something to her.

Well i e-mailed her back and politely said that me and my DH are not going to give away any of my sons things. As we feel it is things that we baught for our son, and we will be having a few more kids so we will keep his things.

Now i am getting rid of the two cots, as i feel when we get our BFP, a new baby gets a new cot, so she said she just prosumed we will then also be getting rid of all the things that go with the cots, and i said hell no!!!!!

Anyway thanks gals, atleast my DH stands by me 100% as he also sms'ed her and said we aren't getting rid of my sons things.
