Question

Pregnancy intuition

Hi All

Can anyone please advise me? My husband and I have been trying for a baby for about 7 months. I'm only 31 so I'm not stressing out too much at the moment about it not happening straight away. Anyway, I am currently in that 2 week wait period and I can't describe it but I have an overwhelming feeling that I'm pregnant. I know it sounds crazy but I am so sure I would bet my house on it. It's just a really strange feeling. I am totally tired out but I feel so 'at peace' inside and happy....does that make sense. I had some 'pinkish' spotting about a week after I ovulated and strange cramps. Now I'm 8 dpo and my nipples are so sore and standing to attention (which I've never had before), breats are swollen and tender and I have lower back ache. I'm also bloated and have constipation. This morning I stood for a couple of minutes hovering over the toilet as I felt really sick but nothing since. I know I am too early to take a test however, before when I was late getting my period I did a test and was so scared if the result was positive but now I feel different, not scared just excited.

Really hope someone will share their experiences with me......as I'm sure I'm carzy...!

It all sounds really positive - a lot of women I've spoken to have said that they just 'knew' when they were pregnant. Hope this is your month!

I've had this feeling a couple times b4 but unfortunately i was wrong. When you want 2 be pregnant so bad it seems that you trick your mind into believing that you are. It's possible that the symptoms you're having are pregnancy symptoms but i would try not to get to excited yet even tho your intuition may be right.Lately i've been telling myself not 2 believe i'm pg until i have proof. It does sounds positive tho.Good luck on your BFP!

All I can say is good luck too. It will be nice to see if you are right and one of the very few who just 'feel pregnant' really early. to you while you wait.

Good luck! I hope this is your month!! I have to agree with some of the others....TTC can really do your mind in and play tricks on you. As hard as it is try not to get to excited or read to much into things..........because if you don't get your BFP the disappointment will be much worse

Hi All,

Thanks for your VERY fast responses. I do understand what you are all saying about wanting it so much and reading too much into symptoms however my attitude has always been if I'm blessed to have children then it will happen so I don't feel I'm reading too much into things. It's hard to explain but I just feel so 'different'. I'm pretty in tune with my body and things are happening that I've never had before...it's just weird. To be honest pregancy scares me to death but I do feel strangeely at peace....! Does that makes sense?

Em
