Hi i'm a little confused.Two weeks ago i had brown and pink spotting for 4 days.AF was due on the 7th March and it still hasn't arrived.Went to the doc last week due to the spotting.I was examined and was told that i didnt feel as if i was pg.At that time i hadn't missed AF yet so i didn't do a test in the office.He told me however that it's possible that the spotting could or couldn't be pg related.I did a First Repsonse HPT on Monday afternoon which turned up negative.I kno it says u can test any time of the day but i prefer 2 use first morning urine.I only did it becase my other half was anxious 2 find out.I get AF every month and i've never spotted b4 so i'm a little concerned.

1. Do u think that taking the HPT after drinking a soda 1/2 hour earlier could have made the test wrong?

2. Have u ever experienced this and it was not pregnancy related?

I was 5 days late before I got a BFP. Not sure how the doctor could tell if you feel pregnant at this stage??

I do think that drinking the soda before taking the test could influence the results though.

He felt my womb on the inside.I was telling myself that it would be 2 early for him to feel if i am.I hope he knows what he's talking about.
