How reliable are IC's??

Hi

Has anyone had BFNs on ICs and gone onto get BFP on FRER etc?

I was due AF yesterday (Fri) but still nothing...did ICs on Thurs Fri and today but all BFN..

Havent had a chance to get to chemist today but wondering if i should get FRER or just trust the ICs?? are they really trustworthy? they were £3 for 15 on Ebay so I am dubious!!!! but at same time dont wanna get my hopes up...

Any ideas Please!!!

Hi just tell you what happened to my friend, Af was late and over the following few days she took 10 IC all negative and she was getting herself really upset and well to cut a long story short she ran out of ic's and bought a frer and BAM! a glaring positive.

I've been using IC since about 8dpo and had all BFN until today (my AF was due yesterday too) and I got the faintest of faint lines. Gonna use an FRER tomorrow unless AF shows up overnight.
Being 10miu you'd think they'd have picked something up before now, from what I've read on here they aren't that reliable for many people.

Ok, I'm new to all of this (just started trying to get pregnant!) and I'm confused by all of the accronyms, can anyone help me out with what they all mean??!!

Thanks

Hi pickle

I bought loads of ICs off ebay and have been using them. Last monday I thought i saw a hint (seriously, in stong daylight while tilting!!!!) of a line but thought it was an evap as it took ages to come up. Did 1 tue morning and same again so wasn't really sure either way. On tue i bought some superdrug early ones, they're 2 for a fiver so not too dear. I did it when i got in from work and got a seriously strong and fast BFP!! Just for fun yesterday I did another IC as i had 1 left, using fmu, and it was STILL barely there.

Personally I think they're not that good and i really recommend the superdrug ones. Good luck, really hope its your month

I got BFP on FRERS/Superdrug/Clearblue from 11/12 DPO and nothing on ICs. Wouldn't trust them for anything other than feeding the POAS habit! Lines on frers etc were nice and dark after a few days, also had a +ve on a digi, but nothing on an IC until about 18 DPO (did one as I still can't kick the habit and they were all I had in )

Found superdrug to be the best, showed up better than the frer even.

Good luck and sticky dust
