What pill were you taking? How long for?

Have you felt any different this month?

have you conceived before after taking the pill?? did it take long?

Sorry for all the questions i'm just excited

I have been taking the pill for 7 years, recently changed from Microgynon to Marvelon - i had a 6 month break about 2 years ago when i was ttc but didnt conceive and then split with my husband - now ttc again and this is my first month

I had been on microgynon on and off since I was 16 (so 6 years). I stopped taking them at the end of May 2007 and concieved in August.

I've been on breaks from microgynon before and my AF would return to normal & be very regular after my first AF being off it. However the last time I had a break (the period I got pregnant in) my AF was always irregular.

I too was on Micrigynon since i was 16 so for about 11 years all in all although i went on couple of other pills over the years cileste, dianette etc but came off Microgynon last june to start ttc and am still at it unfortunately,. It really messed my cycles up, i was gutted. My cycles have gone from 28 days to 37,38 day ones! Aaargh!! Some of my friends came off pill and that very first time of ttc, caught staright away!! Im like how is that possible???? Nevermind im still poisitve and you sound mega positive so i hope you get your bfp soon chick x

Thanks - Its scary though isnt it....some people get caught straight away and others its takes a lot longer

I'm jut nervous because last time it didnt happen and i was ttc for 6 months (glad it didnt know as me and hubby split up) but it makes you wonder

I'm really hoping that this time its right and will happen soon

Just have to wait and see if my periods are gonna come back normally or not..... I have been having some stitch like cramps today and last night, dont think i've felt it before so hoping i'm gonna OV but then you never know it could be anything

I am in a similar position to Franjipan - was on the pill for over 10 years. I stopped taking it in August and hubby and I started trying straight away but not had any luck at all yet.
My periods have been pretty irregular since coming off the pill- anywhere between 29 and 36 days apart so far! Main difference i have found is that i get much nastier period pain and also get OV pain every month now.
I loved the simplicity of being on the pill but annoyed with myself now for staying on it so long and letting it mess up my body like it has! Grrr!
Everyone is different though - i know other people who have conceived straight away after coming off the pill, so good luck!

I was on the pill for 4-5 years. Quit taking it in September and had conceived by November, but we were lucky.

I came off the pill ages ago, but I remember the first month TTC was a nightmare, my cycles were all over the place, the pill just covered up problems that I had such as PCOS and a blocked tube, which I didn't find out I had until a year after TTC. I was on Cileste but I also went through other different ones, but I will never take the pill again as it was such a heartache when I came off it, not to mention the af cramps being much worse when I came off the pill.

I was on the pill from aged 15 to aged 21 and if / when I am succesful this will be my first. I know it is very different for different people, I know some people that have gotten pregnant straight away and some it has taken a few months for their body to get back to normal... best of luck and I hope you are one of the lucky ones who gets a straight away!!

How often should we be BDing? we normally do it everyday.....is this too much?

I've just started TTC after coming off microgynon after 5 years in December (used condoms inbetween) but my cycles are apparently a mess. First period off pill was like clockwork, I stopped the pill and had my withdrawl bleed then about 30 days later I had a period. That was the 18th January and I haven't had one since! I've taken three tests all bfn and now I feel like perhaps I'm going to have a period but perhaps not because I've got cramps and achey boobs. Who knows, I haven't a clue what is going on with my body.
