Are your partners supportive? how do you get your oh involved without making him feel like a sperm machine??

i have found a whole new love for my Oh since we started ttc.

he has shown some amazing support by doing loads of little things and i was wondering if you lovely ladys had any support stories comon the good the bad the rude and the ugly??

I guess i'm a bit different as had a mc, but ive have found that post my mc my OH is so much more enthusiastic and will try harder than ever..being knackered or not, he will do it where as before it was sometimes a no go..(grrrr )

I will say this though, im lucky as i never had to dress it up, i.e. not tell him i'm ov or anything..but i think it helps not being militant ( i know easier said than done .see 'grrr' above, lol) but for instance, i gave OH the night off yesterday as he was so tired, fell asleep on sofa. But that's only since we'd done it the night before-hey sperm live longer! I have told him no such thing tonight tho... ]

Also, i never mention baby, or 'we're gonna make a baby' as i still want it to be sexy and not clinical..we just do what we always have and i try to keep a sense of humour about it..like when our cat jumped on OH's bits on monday- yes, i did hold my breath but i thought its not the end of the world if its over for tonight- luckily it wasnt, but i wanna keep it as normal as possible..making love, not just making baby!!

We'll ask about sexual fantasies and try them out if possible..imagination is a powerful thing as is talking about things.. now we sound like total pervo's, lol... if really special (read drunk) will even dress up sexy, be out of character and tell him all the naughty things im gonna do to him and vice versa...seems to work, lol!!!

Honestly, this is a good thread!

If only people can be honest cause it can be difficult for some, the ttc journey I mean..... I like sex as much as the next person but ttc and the pressure to do it at some times can be tough...

Id welcome any tips and also hear what, and how the other girlies think about this topic!?? How do you deal with sex when TTC?

Honestly though it can be difficult at some times. In fact just earlier tonight DH asked if we can actually have sex on just for the purpose of ttc! Opps, been a bit obsessive this month

On the whole though we just go with the flow, if it's round about ov time I tend not to tell him, kinda takes the passion out of it. We just try to enjoy it without making it a 'right we have to do NOW' situation. I really don't want that to happen.
