Hi Everyone! I've just joined the forum and am wondering if anyone has any ideas to my weird situation.. My last period lasted AGES!!! including the spotting that I had for a few days leading up to it, then it arrived in full swing and was VERY heavy, then it kind of slowed down and finally turned to a very light brown spotting that I only saw when I'd go to the toilet. But it lasted roughly, I'd say about 2 and a half weeks!!!! Normally, for me, they only last a week at the most.. why would I suddenly get a freaky long one? Anyone had a really long period like this?

Hi welcome to baby and bump
I had a weird period my last one started really light for a day then really heavy for a day then went light for about 5 days. Wasn't long but i am normally heavy for a week.
I think somethimes you can have a wierd Period.
Have you took a test to see if you could be pregnant sometimes you can get a wierd one and be.

Hi Cheryl! thanks for answering! No, I never took a test as I just guessed that if my period came.. however long or different it was.. that was a definite sign that my ttc attempts had failed!

Hi Firebabe! Yes, it's very annoying, especially when you think it's stopped and then it rears it's ugly head again! I'm still getting very very light brown spotting and i'm about fed up of it all!

hi there, and welcome!! I had this for th first three cycles, came off implant in nov and only just getting settled now( fingers crossed!!) and my periods went much the same as yours, but the main bleed wasnt really heavy. Mine lasted fro at least 12 days and was infuriating!! No bding or anything!! If you have been on birth control this could be the reason, it certainly was for me anyway. Good luck, Candice xx
