Im new to this site, Just a quick hello and a few questions xx

hello everyone, I just thought i would say hello to all of you lovely ladies and their partners, Im new to this site but thought i would register. Myself and my partner are trying for baby number 2. We already have a little girl who is 4. I had my Implant removed in October and have had 2 periods now so we have decided that its time to start trying for baby number 2 I dont really have regular periods so I have decided to buy some ovulation tests.. has anyone found these to be helpful? At the moment we are just making sure that we have an ''early night'' every 2 - 3 days apart. I have one worry tho.. when i was pregnant with my little girl i was a size 16, im now a size 22 and i have tried and tried and tried to lose weight but nothing has worked, I feel that bigger ladies are made to feel that they dont deserve the right to be pregnant, most maternity departments only go up to a size 18 - 20. I'm now just making sure that I live on fruit and Vegetables and am eating nothing fatty at all, has anyone else found themselves feeling like i do? Anyway, I wish you all luck while TTC.. I will keep you all updated, lots of luv & hugs... Becks xxxx

Welcome to B&B the ladies are lovely, helpful and very supportive on here.

Were trying for baby number 3, i have 2 boys from a previous marriage, so me and new hubby would like to complete our family.
I can't help you with ov kits, sorry, i am starting them 1st time this month too.
As for size, EVERYONE deserves a child if they look after it! Why should size matter, so what! As long as you are happy. Have a nosey on ebay for maternity clothes too, may sound tacky but there are some fab new and barley worn items on their in all sizes.
Living on fruit and veg i wish lol, but in all seriousness that no good for ttc you still need some fats in your diet just limit them.

Wishing you lots of lock ttc and sending your way.

kelly x

Hi, I use OPK's and I find them a huge help... I ovulate late and irregular so I have to do something and I find temping too awkward to take at the same time everyday and it's too late because you have to have 3 consecutive increases I think so you only know when it's happened.
Make sure you test later in the day and everday in accordance with your cycle to make sure you catch it.

I am sorry that you think you may have an issue with being the weight you are but no one has the right to discriminate against you surely I wish you all the luck and I hope you have your BFP soon x

Thankyou Lindyloo... to be honest I think I make more of an issue regarding my weight than anybody else, It just upsets me that I cant go into most baby shops and buy maternity clothes from there ( Im still TTC at the moment) but thought I would have a look at some maternity clothes before hand... Its a good job I did. I have managed to find a few good places tho that do size 22 so im a happy bunny now...haha. I just hope to get preggers soon ... Good luck to everyone TTC... Becks xxxx
