Its not very clear what you're asking hun.

You need to count the first day of your period as day 1 or CD1. It doesnt matter how many days it lasts. Its hard to work out your cycle length if you're irregular which I think you said you are before. If you are not sure of your average length then start by saying you have a 28 day cycle as thats average and go from there.
This is an easy calculator:
http://www.askdramy.com/ovulationcalc.html

Then you just need to keep a track of which day you are on until you get your next period. If its 31 days then use this to work out your next O date until you settle into a pattern - If you dont settle down after a few months then maybe talk to your Dr.

Hope that helps.

oh and in the mean time the best thing to do - if you can keep up the pace - is BD every other day just incase!

When you do finally get your next period you can count back 14 days and that should roughly give you when you O'd.

Ok - this is my advice - someone else may have an opinion.

I think you need to forget about how many days your period lasted - I think you may have just had a freakishly long one!

Your 2 normal cycles were 26/27 long so lets start you with an average 28 day cycle to make things simple - ok?

If I were you I wouldnt bother counting now until you get your next period. You're cycle must be a bit f'd up if you had such a long period - was that all FULL FLOW??

Then count the first day of your next periods full flow as day 1 (CD1) and say you're gonna have a cycle length on 28 days.

Until you get your next period I dont think you can properly estimate when you will O so just BD every other day until your period comes.

Any one else got any ideas???
