..an implantation "dip"? When I took my temp this morning it had dropped from 98.3 yesterday morning to 97.9 this morning (still above my coverline, but pretty low none the less). I thought I had read something in passing about an implantation dip on some website (might have been in someone's pg story on twoweekwait.com). Is there such thing? I know you can spotting with implantation but can you have a temp dip as well? the only other thing I can think of is that this month will be a short luteal phase (booo) and AF is knocking at my door even though I don't feel like AF is coming right now. I had some ever so mild cramping Saturday and Sunday, but they were nothing like AF cramping. I am 5DPO today. Thanks in advance!

I have no idea but I'm watching your replies with interest, my temperature dipped today which is unusual for me.

temp dip around 7-10 DPO could indicate pg, but is not a definite sign of pg

I once checked fertilityfriend.com for implantation dips and they seem quite common.

hmm I guess I will wait and see, could be nothing as it was only a .4 drop but after OV it always stays above 98, this is the first I have seen it take a little drop. I was looking at some pg charts on this one website and a couple were marked implantation dip at one point in their cycle a few days after 'O', and I've read that it is also a myth somewhere else (can't remember where though), so I was curious as to what you guys thought. I won't get my hopes up, just in case, and will see what the rest of the days bring.

thanks hun! today my temp went back up to 98.4, a little higher than the day before yesterday, still too afraid to get my hopes up but hope it's a good sign anyway lol!

Fingers crossed its a BFP.

I had a dip about 3DPO , then following day temp went back up and stayed same for 3 days, then this morning its up by about .2 so really not sure what that means. Only time will tell!
