EWCM after O?

I have never had EWCM while TTC, but each month I would still get my positive OPK..So I thought I was just one of those girls that didnt have al ot of EWCM...Anyway this morning was the first time I got it. I O'd last week....what does this mean getting EWCM a week after ovulating??

I have also had EWCM after ovulation and having looked on FF (you can search for it) there are a lot of people who do have this - firstly you can carry on BDing just in case, and secondly it can also be semen that is confusing you as it can look like EWCM. I wouldn't worry about it though - if you are sure you have ovulated then just carry on as normal. Good luck.

I had this for a couple days after o and even had some wet cm too. I am 6 days late with negative hpts!!! I have nausea, cramping on and off, headaches, bloating, prominent veins on my chest and belly... I am so frusrated

My temps have been elevated too! I have an appt set for Tuesday so hopefully they can tell me what is going on. I feel pregnant but the tests say differently

Hi there, I posted a similar question about a week ago as I had some EWCM... responses were similar to Tanikits...
a. You might be ovulating later than you thought so

b. Semen possibly.
c. Sign of AF.
So not really a definitive answer I'm afraid!

Hoping, I had a look at your chart and even with my limited charting knowledge it looks great! I have had a similar rise in temp as you over the past few days(see chart below) but my chart is incomplete as only started temping very recently. BFN this morn. AF due tomorrow. I understand your frustration as I'm not even late yet and going nuts!

everyone is so different but I had nevagtive hpts with both of my ds until I was 5 or 6 weeks despite having so many symptoms inc really bad MS!!!

It can be a sign of AF coming.

If it is semen it won't stretch and if you rub it between your fingers it will disapear, EWCM will stay.

You tend to get a second rise of oestrogen, normally in the middle of the luteal phase which can:
1. Give you EWCM/ Water CM.
2. Cause ferning on a saliva microscope.
3. Make OPKs go positive (or at least show a line when there wouldnt normally be one).
