| Is it better to TTC or NTNP I´m more keen on NTNP because I´ve heard that once a person "tries" to conceive, the stress and all will more likely than not prevent one from getting PG.
I just want to ask how many of your got PG by NTNP and how many got pregnant by TTC? ANd how long did it take for you for both methods?
I´m trying to decide if I really want TTC or just NTNP and see how it goes.....
Are there any NTNP women out there??? I think I only see TTC women on babyandbump. | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi I am currently NTNP. Don't get me wrong, I still kind of monitor my body (like watching out for the changes in my cm to indicate where I am in my cycle) but I don't chart or anything - just hope that I do the deed at the right time of the month! I conceived my little girl by NTNP, it took about 8 or 9 months. I am a bit more anxious this time around because I really want another baby but I'm trying to not stress out about it, because I do think stress can play a part in not getting pregnant. | | | | Status: Offline

Great to know another NTNP person! | | | | Status: Offline

| We were NTNP this month. I don't know if I'm pregnant yet. It's the second cycle since my MC and we weren't trying at all last month. It took me 6 months to get pregnant when I was trying, then I MC. My daughter was a "whoopsy baby" so I'm going to see how NTNP works for us | | | | Status: Offline

| I went all out this month and got the OPK's and really charted and everything. I am still in the TWW so im not sure. But I have a good feeling.
Ive been ttc since May. We have been doing a mixture of ntnp and ttc and I did get pregnant in September, but it ended in a mc. Ironically I did OPK's that month too but stopped before I got a positive. And we only bd like 2 times that month. It was a blighted ovum, so I suspect we BD'd too early before ovulation.
SO I think knowing when you ovulate is good... I dont tell my OH what is going on, I just keep it to myself and make sure we bd on those days. | | | | Status: Offline

| hey we are NTNP this month, mostly because putting all that energy and stress last cycle made it all the more unbearable and depressing when AF came so all I'm doing for this month is making sure that we bd at least every other day. good luck with the method you use I personally think its a good idea to switch between the two (TTC one cycle then NTNP the next so that you don't get too stressed from ttc although hopefully it won't take that long!!) baby dust for all

| I fell pregnant twice in 4 months with DD (first one was a chemical) and we were TTC using OPKs after the MC. I'd say if you are relaxed about how long it takes, then NTNP would be good. To not stress hubby out this time, I plan to not tell him so much info and not let him know where I am in my cycle...I might even tell him we are NTNP, but secretly I know exactly what's going on. I'm too much of a control freak!
Question for anyone NTNP, do you abstain from drinking etc at all in your cycle or do you just carry on living as normal? | | | | Status: Offline
