Hey ladies. I'm completely new to the TTC thing, we started a week ago, first baby! Very excited but really want to share share share experiences and ideas. I've used the ovulation tests (wee ones) and they dont seem to work - I used for about 6 days in a row around ovulation and so I got a bit worried. Also didn't find a temperature peak and I basically havent got a CLUE when I ovulate. My cycles are pretty regular, about 28/29 days. Don't get too bad PMT but periods last 4 days or so. Never experienced the pain you can sometimes get with ovulation..think i'll watch for the EWCM a bit more next month but Ifound it hard to tell whether my EWCM or my hubbys 'stuff' (ewww gross sorry!)

It's definitely very soon to be planning so much but we really want to conceive soon so thought we'd start out doing everything we can to get the right days. Been having sex almost every day since Sunday. today is day 18....

Also, what counts as the first day of your period, sometimes I have small light spotting the day befpre then it starts properly...

well still no AF and still no BFP - i think i'm broken

i did an ic yesterday, there was a very faint pink line on it. so waited 4 hours then did a FRER there was also a really super faint line on it, fainter than the ic!

so this morning i did another ic & nothing!!!!!!

its driving me insane! i have only done 2 tests though but there has been about 5 days between them. since i have just come off the pill i think everything has been thrown out of wack. according to my FF chart i only just ovulated and am due AF on the 29th or something like that! *shakes head*

@hannahjd81: you don't count spotting as CD1 - it's only when you have a 'flow' which counts as CD1 ^__^ i'd definatley advise you to get a BBT thermometer and track your temp on FertilityFriend. it's quite good to see what your temperature is doing. mine's is all over the place by the looks of things due to just coming off the pill on November 17th...

ablacketer - Thank You Soooo Much for the information, that will definitely help us out with the temp charting. I do know now I must go buy a basal therm. instead of my regular joe therm. I'm CD4 today. I would love to have a ttc buddy esp with dates around mine, however my cycles jump around alot lately. My DH had a discussion with me today, saying that since it hasn't happened yet, that it must not be meant to happen right at this very moment (I wanted to slap him!) Haha However, I do all my charting in the "what to expect before you are expecting" book, ha I keep it next to the toilet!!! I O usually a few days after my af, so shortly I will be buying some tests unless I get the courage to R.E.L.A.X. this month and just try and let it happen

If everything goes as planned I would like to try and BD every other day from when af is over, then 3 days during ovulation, and every other day after wards, DH isn't convinced of the statistics of bding alot. We'll see.
