I'm Currently Feeling: | Delayed ovulation...higher miscarriage incidence? Well, it definitely seems that I've finally FINALLY ovulated (CD21). I've never ovulated this late (usually around CD15). I'm worried that if I managed to conceive this month, that I'll miscarry. Does anyone know about problems related to delayed ovulation?? Does it mean my period will be later too....or does it mean that I'll have my period at the regular time and I won't have time for implantation? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hmm it's hard to say. If this is your first cycle of a late ov, maybe you will just have your af later. If your af does arrive on time then it would appear that you have a short luteal phrase (time between ov and af) I wouldn't worry about it too much just yet as it could be your cycle going abit screwy.
It has happened to me for the last 2 cycles..i normally have a luteal phrase of about 12-13 days but my last 2 cycles my luteal phrase was only 7, i ov'd on CD21 for some reason.
It might be best to wait and see what your cycle does this month, if it does appear on time and you are worried you may have a LPD (luteal phrase defect) then go visit your gp. There are things you can take to lengthen it though so don't worry too much hun. Vit B6 is very good i have also heard evening primrose can help. Hope your cycle sort's itself out.

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have heard that your luteal phase length does not change usually. I also heard B6 helps regulate your cycle. Maybe you just stressed and delayed ovulation this month. Good luck. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I don't know of any problems with delayed ovulation. I think it's quite commom. It could mess up your cycle though if you don't concieve. I've heard m/c is more likely if an egg is fertilized late - near the end of it's life though but I'm sure this most often happens before most people even know they're pregnant. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I always had a delayed ovulation and got pregnant on my first month (and first day) of TTC. Baby is growing strong and healthy. Dont worry. You will be fine. Good luck! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Maybe you O'd on a weird CD. I wouldn't worry, so long as you have been BDing a lot throughout your cycle |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i would wait and see hun, my cycles are all over the place and i have a short luteal phase it appears. Last 2 cycles were 30/31 days in length. I was charting for the last one of them and i ovulated on cd26!! AF arrived on cd31. This cycle appears to be going the same, as i ov on cd26 but im stil waiting for AF, just spotting at the moment. I started taking b6 last week to help my cycles, did not think it would start to work this quick though but it seems to be the case, duno, temps are still high so im hoping. If you do have a continuos short luteal phase i would go see Dr as there are things to help. It might be the b6? if you didn't need it maybe thats messed things up? |
