Microgynon30...

As I was on microgynon30, stopped the pack, had a period....would this effect the timing of my next period??

I've heard it can take month to get back to 'normal routine' on the other hand i've heard you should carry on your normal cycle....!?

Anyone with knowledge or advice on this one please!?

hi it took me two months for my periods to return to a normal cycle but it took 9 months to get my bfp after coming off it, but then I got pregnant on microgynon 30 with my second child, I think each of us reacts differently to it.

Hey hun, i hope i can shed some light on this for you

I came off the pill recently (Ovranette, although i used to be on Microgynon) and was worried about this, as i had heard on here that it can take many months for your cycle to go back to normal. And for some people it does-a lot of girls on here have waited months for their first period after stopping the pill. But i was lucky

The first month after i stopped my pill, my period came bang on time. I hope this is the case for you too

All you can do is wait it out and wait for it to arrive i'm afraid!

I came off microgynon in July and had my first AF 6 weeks later. Since then io have been having a cycle of around 28 days but i get spotting inbetween and am going to try OPK this month as i still dont know if i am ov or not...Seems to be taking ages to get out of my system.

When i concieved me daughter ten years ago it only took me two months after coming off microgynon. So I think it just differs on how much of the hormones are still in your body.x

I came off Microgynon 15 days ago, had the usual period straight after and I'm also waiting for the first 'real' period - i think I am. My friend recently came off Microgynon though and conceived on the first cycle, so fingers crossed its the same for us!!
I think i am ov at the moment as have womb and back ache (for last 4 days) which i dont usually get.

Hi I'm so glad there's others here who have come off microgynon! I came off on 14th nov and I think my cycle has gone back to normal right away - the doc said insm OVing (I went as I hav never had OV pains before due to BCP's... I think my cycle length will vary for a few months but I have been told that I will have no problem getting preggers immediately after stopping micro30 :-D

i got pg on microgynon, i took 3 packets back to back and didnt realise i was pg...i lost, bled, went back on mcg30 for just over 2 weeks, decided to come off again cos i wanted to try again and a week later had a withdrawl bleed, this *i think* would be my first or possibly 2nd cycle after coming off. before i got pg i was on it for almost 8 years i dunno if my body got used to it or something lol! got my cbfm and thermometer at the ready as my cycles are still quite long with the last being 36 and only a 9 day LP hopefully i can pinpoint ov next time and my luteal phase lengthens...good luck everybody!
