I'm Currently Feeling: | Test questions!! Ok, few questions i neeeeeeed answers to please!!
1.... mainly why do they say ignore the text after 10 mins?
2.... would a faint positive get darker after the time limit or would it mean its an evap line?
3... would an evap line have any blue colour in it at all or would it just be there without an colour?
Any ideas girls?? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Well I think they say to ignore it because you can get evap lines after a while on them but if you got a faint positive it can also get darker. Most of my tests did when I left them on the side and looked at them again later.
As for the 3rd question, I don't really know but I doubt it should contain colour because that would meant that something was able to change the colour. Hopefully someone else will know. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I did some research - hope this helps.
1. Evaporation lines are caused by evaporation of the urine in the result window of a pregnancy test. These are lines that shows in the result window of the test. An evaporation line develops when the urine on the test area begins to dry, leaving a faint, colorless line. Evaporation lines appear as a result of the composition of the particular urine specimen - and they may appear on any test regardless of brand.
2. A positive can be concluded as accurate if it is read before the time limit, no matter the color or faintness. It may or may not get darker, but if you leave it beyond the time limit the line should remain the same. If it does turn darker it is probably due to evaporation. Although if you only see a faint line after the recommended time it is more likely to be an evap line.
3. I haven't found a specific site that either confirms or denies this, but a lot of women have had evap lines and stated they have been blue in color, it depends on the test.
Hope that helps |
