I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid many years ago. It was a friend who was a nurse who noticed it. He told me i had a slight lump in my kneck where the thyroid is situated. I was always tired as well and just generally always under the weather but i put it down to stress of life etc.

Got confirmed with blood tests and was put under an endocrinologist initially. Given thyroxine and was monitored until i was stabalised. Now i just have yearly blood tests to see if my does needs changing.

Good luck x

Hi hun, was diagnosed with underactive thyroid about 8 years ago, was put on thyroxine by the docs.

I take a tablet every day, and have my bloods checked once a year.

It's all good now really - as long as I remember to take it!

Hope you get sorted

I'm actually getting my blood results back tomorrow! I had exactly the same thing and went to see my doctor! Go and see your doc, it can't hurt. :-)
