Trying...

I've been married for quite sometime now and me and my husband are trying to conceive and for some reason I can't seem to get pregnant... I recently stopped taking my birth control pills a couple of months ago... Is there something wrong? Should I contact a doctor! Please if anyone has any stories or anything that maybe helpful please feel free to share them...
Also is there anything I can do? Any tips on helping me get pregnant!

Thanks and God bless you!

It can take some women awhile to get back to their normal self after birth control and for healthy fertile couples in their 20s it can take up to a year. Its really just a numbers game. The only thing you can do is be more accurate when you have sex, making sure you hit that fertile time in your cycle to give you the best chances of conceiving. You can do that in a couple of ways, alot of women use ovulation prediction kits, you will seem them called opks here, they detect the hormone surge before you ovulate so you can pin point the best time to try and then there is basal body temping which confirms that you have ovulated by means of taking your temp every morning upon waking and recording it on a chart to work out how your cycle goes. You can just use opks alone but they arnt a confirmation of ovulation just more a a early warning system to let you know whens the best time. Hope I havnt confused you with information overload!

Nope, there's nothing wrong with you. TTC takes time. This is a great website to help you.

Hang in there
