BBT charting.

I have decided to start charting my temp so I can tell the exact time that I ovulate, but before that I have a few questions....

1. Is a digital thermometer the same as a BBT thermometer?
2. When during my cycle can I start doing this?
3. Any other tips/tricks when TTC? I found some vitamins at GNC that I would like to try out... http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp...593203.3118584 and will start using those instead cups to keep it all inside of me rather then laying in the bed with my legs in the air for 30 min, lol.

Yay welcome to the world of temping, its addictive be warned! Yes bbt thermometers are digital but it needs to be one that read to two decimal places eg:36.41 or 95.38. You can start anytime in your cycle just to get the hang of it. I first started about 6 days after O for my first one just to practice, but it wont tell you much until you have a full cycle recorded then you can see the pattern of O and what length your luteal phase is, really handy for knowing when af should or should not appear and when to get excited! The only thing I would worry with that supplement is that it has Angus Castus in it, or Vitex as its listed, it can throw you cycles out of wack, so if you have no problems ovulating and pretty regular cycles normally I would stear clear of it and just take a good quality all in one pre-natal supplement. If you need any help with charting drop me a line and I will be only too happy to help you out! Good luck with it all hun!

I would also say a farenheit thermometer is best because it can more accurately show the shift in temp after ov. The jury is out whether agnus castus (vitex) and green tea help or hinder a TTC journey. I know they both work for some but I am not convinced...took AC myself and think it threw my cycle and gave me mid cycle spotting.
