I might be being dense but if it's pain relief for then you're ok to take ibuprofen (as long as you don't have asthma etc) as you're not pregnant. It is only a problem if you're taking them whilst ov'ing or in TWW. Or am I wrong?

I see the pain management team at hospital due to chronic pelvic pain from endo and they recommended paracetamol and if it's bad codeine (i.e. co-codamol/paracodol) even oramorph (oral morphine) is ok according to them.

Bethany, have you spoken to your doc about your AF changes? Especially if you've been trying for a while. I only say this because I put up with bad pain and heavy, clotted periods for years before getting diagnosed with endo. I DO NOT want to scare you, just a thought that popped into my head.

Yea i went to my docs a little while ago about it she said everything is normal and everything is normal fertility wise. My periods were painful before the pill.. I think they only got worse afterwards because I got used to them not being painful. hmm.
I think i've only been trying for so long because when I first started I was just under 6 stone believe it or not, I battled with my weight for a long time when i was younger.. but I'm 9 stone now after many weight gaining supliments and non stop eating haha I also went through a very stressful time and turned to drink for a while too, but all is ok now and i'm hoping now i'm a lot more healthy, do not drink one drop anymore, quit smoking that i will get my soon
I regret it all so much, i think maybe if i was healthier back then i would have had my ages ago..

xx

Honey you can't change the past, the main thing is all the positive steps you have taken! Well done on the weight gain, I was 7 stone at one point and struggled for years to put on weight, of course now it's gone the other way And the quitting smoking. And stopping alcohol.
You should be really proud of yourself!

See how you get on, and if it continues go back to your doc, you shouldn't have to curl up in a ball with period pain. Even if it's nothing it's better to know that for sure.

Hopefully though you won't have another period for 9 months after this one!

Aww thanks hun, i know how hard it can be to put on weight.. but you get to that point where it gets too easy hehe. Now I can so easy zoom up in weight. It's mad lol.
I actually found it rather easy to quit though, i thought everything would be hard.. as i stopped both in one day.. cold turkey after drinking every night for months.. i went through a really bad patch, but i came out of it even stronger

I think I'm just wimpy when it comes to pain, seriously everything hurts me lol i get really bad months, but i also find i will have a month that isn't too bad.. My period pains only lasted a few hours yesterday now they arn't bad atall.. I wouldn't be able to notice AF is here lol

thank you xx

I'll stop worrying now! It is my specialist subject
I also found stopping smoking quite easy, if you have an incentive like TTC, then there's good reason.
Anyway gone totally off topic now glad you're feeling better

Hehe same, i worry about every little ache or twinge, it's crazy

and defiantly, i read up on it and if it had any effect on fertility and when i found out i ripped the rest of the pack up
evils things, i felt like they were going to ruin my chances so it was pretty easy to stop

indeed haha and thank you i do think my period pains are normal, i know a lot of women who get them bad too.. all to do with different pain tolerances too i guess, mines pretty low :P

Don't put yourself down honey, I had v painful periods but turns out that it's down to my endo, I put up with it for over 10 years. It's nice to know I have a reason to be confined to bed with period pain, it's not just me being feeble!
Fingers crossed for no more visits from the!!!
