So many years spent preventing pregnancy...yet still no BFP’s for so many people...

It really does amaze me how we have spent so many years preventing pregnancy with contraception, yet now we are ready to start a family it doesn’t seem to happen...

Personally my OH and I have only been TTC for 3 months so far, so I know there are so many of you who have been trying for much longer with no joy either.

We hear of so many ‘unplanned’ pregnancies yet it seems so hard for the ones that want it so badly...

Just a thought...

I've been thinking that too! I never missed a pill, was always careful and now i think to myself should i have even bothered filling myself with hormones! and how the hell do these people get pregnant while on the pill....amazes me!

and i have been trying for four months which is hell enough but my heart goes out to those who have been trying for longer.xxx

My bf works as a MA at a pediatrics place and so he has access to a doctor to speak to all the time. Last month I wanted to take the pill b/c i liked how it cleared my skin but when it made me sick and start to bleed 2 weeks into it, he spoke to the doctor about it and she said that the pill can actually harm your fertility.

That scared the mess out of me. Even though, I know there are MANY women who have been on the pill of ages and gotten Preg afterwards.. I guess I didnt want to risk it.

Well usually I am a day or two early with AF or at least have spotting,...but this month I'm at 18 dpo and nothing at all.

Best to be chilled, i tried that this month, it just goes to pot when you get to this point..lol. I need a big dose of patience.x

I know exactly what you mean! When i was on the pill (age 16/17) i was always worried if i was an hour late taking it that i would end up pregnant!! Little did i know eh!!!!

I got pregnant by accident when i was 20 which was a huge surprise but i wasn't on BC due to medical reasons. i didn't have any ovulation sticks, diary's, etc so i think it's just your luck to be honest! I just hope i get more luck soon!!lol
