Using OPK's as HPT's?

Hi ladies! I had a question about OPK's....I'm 9dpo and this is my 2nd cycle trying to conceive, I got pregnant last year the first month of trying but sadly it ended in a mc anywas this month I feel different, I've had twinges in my stomaches the past couple of days, it feels kind of like cramps but with a pulling sensation like when you exercise too hard, and my boobs have felt really full and heavy and they are tender and Im really exhausted even after sleeping all night, so I dont want to test yet coz Im scared of seeing a because I think 9dpo is too early and I was planning on testing on Sunday but i decided to use OPK's just for fun, I heard somewhere that they can be used as HPT's, so I got a positive OPK on ovulation, then went down to negative again afterwards then ever since 7 dpo I've been using an OPK and everyday gets darker and darker and now at 9dpo the test line is the same color as the control line, could this mean Im pregnant? Or am I just a crazy POASaholic? lol thanks for listening ladies!

I am sorry for your loss. You can use them as a pregnancy test, but not until you are like a week late. OPKs always have that line, so you have to have a build up of hcg before it will show up true pos. But I would have to do a hpt to confirm the test anyway. If you want to know now, I would say use a frer or IC.

Good luck and tons of to you hun!

well i got a line on a opk about 9dpo. & sure enough i was preg! sadly this ended in mc. last month we started ttc again so i was using opk's in the same way to test for a bfp. & i didnt get any sort of a line, not even a faint one after ov & it was right, i wasnt preg. so yea i think they're quite good at predicting the bfp! good luck, but it sounds like a bfp to me! i'll be checking out to see if it is =)
