Has anyone told any of their colleagues at work that they are TTC?

I have told Nicki, the other girl in my department, doesnt help the fact that she notices i sit on here for the best part of the day lol.

I just think its nice to have someone who can give you a bit of support when you are away from home. They do say you spend more time with your colleagues during the week than with your family!!

i told a friend at work and then she went and fell pregnant within a couple of months of coming off the pill - lucky thing!! So now it makes everything awkward - cos she feels bad talking to me about her pregnancy worries and I feel like I am bringing her down getting upset about TTC.

Most people here "know", although I've only actually told people I'm close to privately... You'll NEVER guess what just happened tho'?!?!?!
I was walking down the hall and our resident 'old hen' (said in the MOST affectionate of terms, really) - "j'en suis sure" - which means "I'm sure of it"... after nearly passing out I said "sure of what"??? and she goes "you are, eh?" ...W T F?????????????? For G'ds sake, I only found out MYSELF this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She said "your face has changed"...!?!?!? Hey, geez!!!! So now i've told her I TENTATIVELY think I am. She won't say anything, she's very discreet, so i'm not fussed, but holy moly... talk about life experience, eh?!?!?

Did get sick of the "so when're you getting pregnant" comments from a few of the dolts around here tho'... people surely feel at liberty to stick their noses where they don't belong, its outstanding...
*sigh*

Not told anyone and bloody glad we haven't as we have now been trying for 10 months..I can imagine it now "still not pregnant yet??" Have you been to the doctors?? Throw your tv away etc etc etc lol 10 Month's of listen to that would have driven me insane i think xxx

I told the lady I work with and to be fair shes been fab as have had a few occassions of blubbering in work when everythings got me down and shes been really great but i also told a couple of friends and thats just created more pressure for me i think as they keep asking me every time they see me if im still trying and after 8/9 months of ttc im fed up of it, esp as both friends fell pregnant and im still not. Its hard isnt is as sometimes you want people to know as it helps to have the support when they know youre feeling down etc but on the other hand the whole of my hubbys familoy found out that we were ttc and now I just feel stupid and the only one who hasnt got a child when im with them now and that realyl gets me down cos they know we are trying.

Pretty much all of mine know. I work at a daycare so it's all women and there's really not many of us. About 15 I think? Some know more than others because we're closer friends. They've been through everything with me.... school, boyfriend, engagement, wedding, getting pregnant, miscarrying.... You name it! I love those ladies more than anything!

See i work with about 10 men and about 2 women so not really a subject they all want to talk about lol

I have told 1 person at work about my faint positive yesterday because she asked so in turn had to tell her we have been trying (I worried she might have thought it was an accident if I hadn't) but other than that I have been banned by hubby from telling anyone even my mum
