I'm Currently Feeling: | Miserable Hey girls
Sorry to moan but im really feeling miserable now. I've charted for two months and both have said i ovulate on cd26 and AF seems to have regulated at cd31 so i have a luteal phase of 5 days...this would expalin why we've not got pg yet after 6mths ttc. I bought some B6 yesterday which were 10g and its already in the pregnacare i take so thats 20g per day, think it has to be 50g to be effective so ill get some at w'end. I feel that there is just little hope at the moment as the vitamin must take a while to kick in. Gonna use a cbfm next cycle so i can "prove" to GP that my luteal phase is 5 days and she will hopefully help as last time i went she said they wouldn't do any other tests until id been ttc a year. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I hate how they say that, that they will not do anything until you have been trying for a year. If you do not ovulate, you do not ovulate and probably will not six months later. If you have a 5 day luteal phase, you probably always will, so what difference will a few months do?
I hear that progesterone cream can lengthen a luteal phase. Have you tried that? | | | | Status: Offline

| I see you are an FF girl too. It won't change anything, but I recommend asking the FF experts on the conference to have a look at your chart and get their comments on the length of your LP. It's really quite a useful tool that I only found a few days ago. Your question comes up completely privately and your chart can only be accessed by their staff.
It's a free second opinion if you know what I mean. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | sending some hugs. it's so hard sometimes when doctors blow things off like it's all in our heads. it reminds me of the 'boy who cried wolf', they probably get so many people come in with nothing wrong with them that eventually they blow everyone else off rather than help people put their minds at ease.
still, i wish you all the best this month!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Aw sweetie....ur trying so hard too!!!!
Can't u change ur story with the doc and say u came off the pill 6 months b4 u did, but wasn't actively tracking ovulation etc....just hoped it would happen naturally and without any intervention....
If she then says 'oh...I thought u have only been trying for 6 months?'
Say 'oh well....no have only been tracking it for 6 months but have been open to conception for just over a year'....see how she takes that????
I feel sneaky lol!!!!! xxx |
