What physical store (USA) can I purchase a good BBT Thermometer at?

Hi!

I'm on cd 1 and want to start charting this month. I know I'm a day late but I'd still like to get started tomorrow morning with cd 2.

Does anyone know of a physical store in the USA where I can purchase one? I looked at CVS last night and they had 2 digital thermometers, both of which were only good to 2/10 of a degree instead of 1/10 needed.

I heard Walmart sells them but didn't see any mention online when I searched.

If you have a brand you recommend I'm all ears. Thank you so much!!!

Oh, and is there a specific area of this site for charters or are there just threads in the TTC forums? Thanks again!!

Walgreens has them they are with the pregnancy test and ironically near the condoms

Not sure if you have Super Drug Mart of Shoppers Drug Mart where you are? I've noticed that almost every drug store carries them, but only one or two at a time. So you won't always see them if you go in. Best best is to ask the pharmacist and see if they can look up to see if they carry them.

Mine is from Target and it works great AND its PINK

. Its with the other thermometers in the pharmacy but make sure its the basal one.

when my partner had the flu a few months ago I ran out to walmart for a thermometer. I saw a basal one next to the one I bought. and it was inexpensive!!

Thank you all. Picked one up at Rite Aid. It's a digital basal, Rite Aid brand, and purple. I thought I read that maybe the Rite Aid brand ones don't work so great, but I wanted to start tomorrow morning and didn't feel like driving to another drugstore.

Thank you so much IndigoDreams, very helpful to know that. I was a bit concerned because the first time taking my temp this morning came up at 97.7 F, then 10 min later (still in bed) came up 97.3 F. If anything I expected it to rise because I had moved around in bed a bit more and even talked to my husband to tell him what his crazy wife was doing using my cell phone as a light to read my temperature. Oh the crazy things we do when ttc!!!

My bbt will drop after moving around a bit, nothing to worry over. Also, be sure to use the first temp of the day before moving around, etc.

Funny...I ALWAYS use my cell phone as a light in the morning to read my bbt thermometer.
