This may sound a bit of a weird thread but theres something that has been on my mind even more so after having my miscarriage, so here goes girls i hope i dont bore you.......
i went to see a psychic even before i was pregnant, in the august of this year and she told me that a pregnancy was a round me and it was a boy, she then went on to say that she could see i did have my heart set on a girl (not that i mind at all) its just that i already have 2 boys and a girl so it would me nice if it was a girl, anyway she said if i held off from trying untill after christmas i would have a girl, went home and told DH and he said what a load of shite. so i didnt really think much of it as i went with some friends for a bit of fun really, But 2 months later i fell pregnant happy as larry knowing i could put an end to testing each month and the anxieties. then 6 weeks on i had a miscarriage, now it keeps coming back to me what she said, its left me in a bit of a dilema should i wait till after christmas to see and plus give my body time to fully recover or should i say hell to it and try and get back in the game. I would be grateful for your views and advice ....sorry its a long thread!

how credible is the psychic? I saw one who said i'd have 2 boys close together in 2 years time, I found out I was pg (huge surprise) a few weeks later and had 1 boy. He is now 3 1/2 with no sign of another baby - def not close together! He clearly was rubbish!

Also I think no matter what preference of sex of baby, it doesn't matter even a little when they pass you that lovely healthy baby so no mind what the psychic says, you'll get pg when the time is right!

I do not put much faith in psychics about things like this... most of them just read your clues and predict based on what you tell them.

you know your body and state of mind better than anyone if you still want to try then keep on trying, if not then wait a bit

Well, i think it depends on the psychic.There are alot of fakes out there and those who will only be after your money. For example one i visited a few years back said i wouldnt get married or have kids till i was in my 30's...i had done both by the time i was 21!

But...when i was 17 i went to a psychic fayre and there was a medium there who was very well known and he worked with the police apparently, helping to solve murder cases. He told me i would be pregnant very soon (to which i scoffed as i was single and not even thinking about it) he then said that I would have three children, the first would be a girl, the second a girl but she would be a tomboy and the third would not be until i was in my early thirties and woujld be a boy. He also said that i wouldnt find true love until i was about 30 and i would not even know the meaning of it until then.

Well i laughed it all off but the following year I was pregnant and had a girl, i got married a year or two later and had another daughter. As for the love thing, I had an awful marriage to a bully and its only now with my new partner that I know what love feels like to give and recieve. The third baby...well I'm late for AF and waiting for a bfp still. If its a boy then its a full set of correct predictions!

i do believe in things like this! alot of non-baby related stuff was predicted for me and some of it turned out to be true! anyway i would say not knowing much about psychics as ive only ever been to a few i would keep on trying if you want to! i lost 2 months ago and it ended at 14 weeks and we decided to try again right away - good luck to you!!

I completely believe in that kind of thing but that doesn't mean to say i beleive everything a pshychic says or believe everyone who says they are a phsychic are. I get readings done as its something I am interested in like a hobby and its nice to get a forcast for things to come. But things have come true for instants my partner before i met him she described him and lots of other things to do with him and its completely true. You shouldn't take it all too seriously but i do use it as a guide and helps me when im down and just need know things will look up.

I saw a psychic a few months back and she was a total charlatain. She knew that I worked for hte police so she kept banging on and on about how it is my lifelong dream to be a community police officer. When frankly I would rather drive nails into my arms - I love my job, I do the same as what they do except I get to sit in a cushy office and if theyre obnoxious I can hang up! She also didn't pick up on the two major things in my life - the fact that I had recently fallen out with my mother and the fact that I was due to get married. Also a few weeks later I permanently fell out with my best friend of 13 years.

So SHE wasn't very good. However I do like to believe there are some out there that possess knowledge we can't explain. But until someone dazzles me (and not with bloody sweeping statements like "you have low self esteem" or "you are generous and love to help") then I shall remain cycnical that most are frauds.

Although i'm a big believer in psychics i also think you should take them with a pinch of salt. However! I went to one about 3 mths ago and she said certain things that so far have come true (and a few things that haven't) BUT she did say i see a baby in may...i was thinking oh right so if i get pg now then that means it'll be due in may but then i thought later on in the reading hang on...i WAS pg in may and had a mmc in the july. So i asked her about when she thought i would be pg and she went away and talked to the spirits and started writing things down. She said "would i be pg again" to which she wrote 'you know she will', then she said "when?" she again wrote 'November!' Then she said "this yr or next year" and the answer was 'within the year!' So guys if i am pg then this is the month and i do seem to be having some symptoms so will keep yas posted. Testing on 25th Nov so fx'd. If not then as i said take them with a pinch of salt what will be will be. (am secretly hoping she was right tho!!!)
