I can't believe it. I'm so annoyed with DH.
We've been trying to BD every day because we're really unsure about when I'm ovulating right now. After 5 days in a row of BDing (and two more days before that, with one skipped day in between), hubby said "Ok...I think we need to take a break for a day" and I agreed. I wanted him to 'recharge' a bit.
Well...today, I put in all my CM and other stats into fertility friend and TCOYF software, and it said that I still might not have ovulated. So when I came home, I asked husband if we could try again tonight and he looked at me like 'uh oh..." and I said "What?" and he said "Well..I masturbated today".
And I was like WTF???? Are you kidding me? You asked for a one day break to recharge...and your jerked off? I don't know if there's any point trying again later.
I'm so annoyed. He knew this was supposed to be a recharge day.

aww hun i am sorry. don't strain yourselves though, try to enjoy BD and do it because both of you WANT to! You don't want it to feel like a chore . But i do feel for you If my DH jerked off "wasting" precious sperm, i'd probably flip just like you lol. Gosh, that sounds so terrible doesn't it? lol our poor men! They are our sperm banks!

Don't feel down or upset hun we're only human and nature will take its course. You're doing the best you can to catch that egg! Take care of yourself and i wish you all the best of luck this month! Enjoy your time with your OH and just have a good hug together, you'll make it through this month in no time.

Oh this sounds depressing!! Poor you!! I would question whether his need for a child is as great as yours if this is the way that he has behaved. Men are a different species hun, and we just have to learn to live with it. How about sitting with him and explaining how you feel and that you are angry that he has potentially let his best swimmers go down the plughole.Men, eh, cant live with em....... This was silly of him. Especially after it was his idea to give a days break to recharge. If he had the urge he should have waited for you to get home. I can understand why you feel annoyed as the thought that, that could have been the crucial moment and it's gone. Whats done is done now and the best thing for you to do is have make up ! hehehe. I'm sure this will be enjoyable for the both of you as you don't want to fall out over this. This is meant to make you closer not push you apart. I'm sure he didn't mean to upset you.

I would still make up and BD - Question: If you found you were O ing would you consider BDing twice in a day?? YES is my answer!! You'd still think the were worth it under those circumstances so I'd still go for it and try not to fall out just before O. xx

i just wanna say, ignore it if you can and make up..

You only need one after all, just that one persistent bugger, give it a chance!!

Ps! Not that'll it make you feel any better but when i was ttc before i got pg we thought we'd tried for about 6-8 months...well 6 properly. its only after we got pg we agreed we had only tried for about 4 of those, really.. the moral of this story it only takes once and one sperm.....which is why some say you dont have to bd every night as sperm live longer..having said that- i can very much see why you got angry...

Yeah that wasn't good thinking on his part. Sometimes I think Men get about as sick of TTC as we women do.
