Question

Doctor presses Lower Stomach Can Tell Your Preggo?


Tried to fit that all nicely in subject line ROFL!
hm about 5 yrs ago I thought I was preg and the doc told me to lay down and felt my lower stomach area and told me flat out I wasnt pregnant

I never had that happen can docs tell your preg by pressing your lower stomach a bit?

They can feel if your uterus is enlarged so depending on when they did it then yes they can.

I'm Currently Feeling: 


Uterus moves above pubic bone around 12 weeks, so would be able to feel top of uterus then. Would not be able to tell much earlier on though.

I agree with the above poster, earlier than 12 week's it would be very difficult to feel anything.

i think thats only when it rises like about 12 weeks or i would have thought a bit earlier
