Help-Bright Red Bleeding around OV time

Hello,
I am on CD15, usually OV around CD17. Cycles are usually 30-32 days long. Had +OPK yesterday so have been bd ing every day. Today, I went to the toilet (sorry if TMI) and discovered bright red blood with wiping! I am so scared. I usually have a bit of OV spotting (light pink) but nothing like this! This looks like AF! What to do? I need to BD since I have had a +opk but I'm scared to now.

Has there been much blood? Can only think that maybe you've got a little tear somewhere from all the bd'ing. I seem to remember that happening to me once or twice. If it's only a bit then don't worry. You've never had a v short cycle as a one-off have you? I once had a 2-week period when I was 18. Never had a 2-week cycle but these anomalies can crop up every so often. If you're worried about it it's probably best to go to see your doctor.

I agree - sounds like a bit of abrasion from lots of BD. If it was just with the one wipe and not a flow or drip, I would forget about it but see your doc if it happens again

*Update - I'm traveling in Paris and not enjoying it because of continued bleeding-spotting. It is not a lot of blood, no need to wear a pad. I have a bit of pink-ish blood in the morning and evening. Sometimes it is reddish. I am now 5 days past OV and I think it has stopped. Is this just ov spotting?

'ov spottng shouldn't normally last more than a day.

I'm not sure what it could be hun - I would may be pop into the docs when you get home and ask them

I had this for 2 days BEFOREi got my pos OPK so think it has something to do with Ov. My breasts are killing me so am sure i am ovulating. However i only had it in my CM and not a lot and only 2x in 1 day and 1x on second day when i wiped. Yours has gone on for longer. Have you tested for pregnancy?

I haven't tested for pregnancy yet as I'm only 7 DPO. When can I test? I was going to wait until AF is due on Dec. 1

I had a really odd thing happen a couple of weeks ago that was similar, but it was about 4 days after my last AF had stopped. I started bleeding for 3 days, not too heavy, but enough to worry me and make me think my AF had started again. (my last AF BTW was 2 days longer than normal and quite heavy).

The Dr couldn't work out what it was and suggested an ovarian cyst that would go away on its own... so nothing to worry about then?!!! ggrrr! Men!

Maybe give it a few more days and test on the weekend? Has the spotting stopped?
